Sea-PAC
June 5 - June 7
Sea-Pac is the Pacific Northwest’s largest amateur radio convention, and the ARRL Northwestern Division Convention. It will run Friday through Sunday, June 5 to June 7 at the Seaside Convention Center, 415 First Avenue, Seaside, Oregon.
There are activities for seasoned professionals and newly licensed operators, even for those who just want to learn more about trying out the technology, like kids and their parents. Take in workshops and seminars, shop exhibitor displays, discover flea market finds, get new ideas, have the chance to meet many other radio operators. The ocean view is magic, too. It’s the only hamfest where a short walk to the Pacific shore gives you the experience of Radios on the Beach on Friday evening. Operate your portable radio from the beach or interact with those who are set up to transmit (weather permitting).
Registration is open now at $15 in advance online, which includes Saturday and Sunday general admission. Tickets are also available for Friday workshops and a Friday evening reception with ARRL guests, Saturday DX and YL luncheons (space is limited), and the Saturday night banquet. You can also register at the door for $20 general admission on convention weekend.
Visit www.seapac.org to register, for more program details, visitor lodging and information, and to read about many other highlights. You can send any questions at that website as well—we are here to help. The convention is a joint effort of the Clark County Amateur Radio Club of Washington and the Oregon Tualatin Amateur Radio Club.
