The Washington State Emergency Management Division is conducting a regional/national Catastrophic Communications Exercise, October 30-31, 2026.  Radio operators at the Idaho Office of Emergency Management (IOEM) will be participating.  We also wanted to involve as many local amateur operators as possible.  Attached you will find the “Amateur Radio Clubs and Individuals Participation Guide,” outlining the parameters for unaffiliated amateur operators.  Our IOEM Winlink address for this exercise will be WGY920@winlink.org , or the same address we have primarily available for our 2 Meter operations;  WC7ID@winlink.org.  For more information contact Curt, W8CDE, at morningstar4@myctl.net
